3D Character – Rigging

This character is part of my old demo reel, and it was fully designed, modeled, lit, rigged, and animated by me. The main focus was on the rigging, developing a robust and flexible technical system for animation.

The rig includes advanced features such as:

  • IK/FK systems for spine, arms, and legs
  • Twist and non-roll setups in limbs
  • IK/FK autosnap functionality
  • Space switching with autosnap
  • Squash and stretch switches
  • Elbow and knee locking
  • Secondary controls for bending and extra deformations
  • Facial control windows and secondary face controls
  • Sculpt-based corrective deformations
  • Deformations based on joints, blendshapes, clusters, wires, and nonlinear deformers
